30 Oct Installing a SUG 6 kg Roaster in Yangyang, Gangwon Province

We have installed a SUG 6 kg roaster at a roasting business located in Yangyang.

Installation difficulty: moderately high!

The business is in a shopping-arcade unit in an apartment complex, and because the arcade sits on a hill, it is on the second floor from the front but at ground level once you walk around to the back.

Although there are two back doors, one faces a steep slope and the other has a very high step.

Fortunately, we got a veteran lift operator, and the roaster was set into place with just a single lift.

However, because of the UG model’s design, its agitator is large and could not go through as it was, so we removed the door to do the work.

The environment was not easy, but when people’s wisdom comes together, is there anything that can’t be done? Anywhere is totally doable!!

​

Since this is a building the client has only just moved into, the space is completely empty! That is great for installing a roaster!

​

Gas had not yet been installed, so the gas technician temporarily hooked up a gas cylinder for the ignition test.

The space previously housed a pocha (Korean-style pub) in the arcade, so there were no difficulties with the duct installation.

We drew diagrams ourselves to explain how the duct should be installed, and since a trial run was needed before the final installation work, we installed a temporary flexible duct.

In addition, the cooler is large enough to agitate the output of two full batches at once.
