SIEBENSTER, 133-33 Unjeong-ro, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea

FAQ

A. Yes. SIEBENSTER is a cast-iron roaster: the front and rear plates of the drum, which must retain heat, and the main body frame are all made of cast iron. As a result, the machine is extremely sturdy, and its large mass gives it excellent heat retention.

A. The SIEBENSTER drum combines cast iron and stainless steel. Because a drum cannot be made from cast iron alone, the drum of no roaster is made entirely of cast iron.

In a SIEBENSTER drum, the front and rear rim structures are cast iron, and the drum surface is a double-layer stainless steel structure, using SUS 310S on the inside and SUS304 on the outside.

A. Polidoro is the name of an Italian burner manufacturer. The Polidoro burner used in SIEBENSTER roasters is the burner that Probat used in the past: a type of impingement-flame burner in a piano-key layout that is easy to expand and offers high thermal efficiency.

A. Probat no longer uses Polidoro burners. The reason is RE100, that is, Europe’s low-carbon energy policy. Probat now uses nozzle-less premix burners, and every kind of premix burner is weak at low-flame control. In Korea, where roasting at a wide variety of batch sizes is frequent, the Polidoro, with its wide heating-power range, is better suited.

A. By design, SIEBENSTER roasters are divided into the SP model and the SUG model, which correspond to Probat’s P-type and UG-type models.

The SP model is available in 1, 3, 6, 12, 25, 30, 60, 120 and 240 kg versions, and

the SUG model is available in 6, 12, 25 and 30 kg versions.

Some customers ask for an 8 kg or 15 kg model, but the 6 kg and 12 kg models cover those capacities to a reasonable degree. In other words, the 6 kg model can roast 8 kg, and the 12 kg model can roast 15 kg, thanks to its generous heating power and drum size.

A. The lead time for a SIEBENSTER custom build is typically about three months from order placement to installation.

A. The standard color options for all SIEBENSTER roasters are four combinations: powder-coated parts in black or white, and metal parts in gold or silver.

If you would like a different color, please send us the color number; we will then recommend the closest match from the colors we have already mixed.

A. Except where costly additional components are required, most customization is available free of charge.

A. A new purchase comes with one year of free after-sales service. After the free period ends, you can continue to receive service by paying only the cost of parts and an on-site service fee that varies by region.

A. Both leasing and credit-card purchases are available.

Leasing is arranged through ORIX Capital (contact: Manager Han), and credit-card purchases can also be paid in part, within your personal card limit.

Interest rates vary with personal credit, and interest-free installments change according to the contract terms between Inicis and the card companies; current terms can be checked monthly.
