22 Jul SIEBENSTER Coffee Roaster Installation in Gwangju | FORGE | SUG-06
We have installed a SIEBENSTER SUG 6 kg coffee roaster in Gwangju.

Like the word ‘Forge’ that you only ever hear in StarCraft, this is a roastery cafe that roasts its own beans, and with future wholesale supply in mind, the owner chose a 6 kg machine.

We first met the owner in Ilsan.
He is so good-looking that I was genuinely startled. Haha
Seriously, he looks just like V of BTS. Amazing!

Not only that, he also has an impressive career.
Believe it or not, he is the youngest examiner at the Korea Coffee Association….

True to that, it is a coffee destination that competes on the strength of coffee alone.
So far, the only drinks on the menu are coffee drinks!
That is surely a sign of confidence!!!

There is also a selection of baked goods made in-house.

The SIEBENSTER roaster is behind all of it.

The SUG, which offers the design and usability of the UG model that Probat acquired.
Its performance is excellent, and we also maintain the lowest price in Korea.

The biggest advantage of the SUG model is
that all of the exhaust pipes and motors are located outside, which makes maintenance easy. That is why the UG…
Also, when the design was first conceived in the 1940s, the feature that stood out as its greatest was the aroma wheel.
Put simply, the aroma wheel is a manual damper. Whereas an ordinary damper is blade-shaped, the UG model’s damper is cylindrical.
So less chaff and dust builds up.
SIEBENSTER currently fits an exhaust pressure gauge as standard.
Controlling the drum speed and the exhaust speed with an inverter goes without saying.
On the SUG model, when the inverter gives the same cyclone input value, the value changes as you turn the aroma wheel.
In other words, although the motor turns at a constant speed, creating a bottleneck inside has the effect of trapping heat inside the drum, which you can confirm from the pressure gauge reading.
Some people ask whether they could imitate this by fitting a damper behind the cyclone instead, but the result is different.
Please remember that a damper only makes sense when it is placed upstream of the cyclone motor.

How does it look, with an SUG 6 kg roaster sitting right there in a roastery cafe?
Wouldn’t customers find it professional just by looking at it?
If you are ever in Gwangju, be sure to visit the FORGE roastery cafe.
