We visited Daegu to install a SIEBENSTER coffee roaster.

Today’s stop is Russell Coffee.

Coming to Daegu always puts me in a good mood!

It’s lovely right from the entrance!

It feels like a spot you’d want to pin for later!

Step inside the cafe and you can’t help but gasp, ‘Wow!’

The interior is gorgeous.

The floor, ceiling, and furniture are all made of wood, which gives the space a consistent yet calm, stable feel.

On the other hand, wood alone can risk looking dated, but pairing it with metalwork gives the space a refined yet graceful feel.

And what impressed me most was this ice cup!

Made of hammertone copper, this cup makes iced coffee feel even colder.

As if to declare ‘this is a specialty roasting shop,’ the bar table has a color gradient that follows the stages of roasting.

You can naturally sense that this is a franchise that has paid close attention to every last corner.

The textured brick walls, wood flooring, and antique furniture look truly high-end!

The model installed at Russell Coffee is the SUG-06, a 6 kg UG-type model.

Black with gold metal accents suits the overall atmosphere beautifully!

SIEBENSTER models use inverter control to regulate not only the drum speed but also the exhaust speed. They also come with a pressure gauge.

All of the switches are premium grade!

Although this machine is a 6 kg model, it can comfortably roast 8 kg.

Because it has no shaft, there is no risk of a shaft bending, as there is on Turkish-made machines.

You could say it is optimized for wholesale supply!

The UG model also has an Aroma Wheel (manual damper), which creates an internal bottleneck point and traps heat to a certain degree.

Its price is the lowest in Korea, yet it delivers on performance! It is an impressive piece for the interior, too!
