28 Aug Tanel 12 kg Coffee Roaster Installation in Seongnam

We installed an SUG 12 kg roaster at a knowledge industry center in Seongnam.

Having used a Has Garanti until now, they expanded their equipment by moving up to a mid-size class.

Tasting their coffee, you can tell this is no ordinary cheap coffee; this is a business with a clear philosophy on roasting and a stubborn commitment to it.

We are all the more delighted that the owner, who is currently very active both online and offline, chose us at SIEBENSTER.

Since this is a black-and-silver model, the controller is black and silver too, a perfectly matched set!

We place great importance on design consistency, so color coordination matters a great deal.

SIEBENSTER’s UG and SUG models share the same design concept as the UG model that Probat acquired, and are equipped with an aroma wheel.

In Korea’s roasting culture, which has been influenced considerably by Japan, dampers are already very familiar, but in Europe, with its industrial-plant culture, dampers are of relatively little use.

Even that limited use can be traced back to the UG model, designed in the 1940s.

The aroma wheel on the SUG model is a cylindrical damper rather than a blade-type damper, which minimizes dust getting caught.

Another of the SUG model’s biggest advantages is its enormous cooler-agitator.

The agitator can take two full-size batches, and its true worth shows in post-roast blending or when a delivery quantity is split into two roasts.

SIEBENSTER takes pride in its generously sized 4x drums.

The 6 kg model can roast 8 kg, and the 12 kg model can roast up to 15 kg!

As a result, it is bulkier than other roasters. And because it is cast iron, it is also tremendously heavy.

At the Tanel installation, the door was a bit low, so the machine had to be brought in half-disassembled.

It took quite a while, but I’m proud to see the roaster settled in so nicely now that all the work is done.

For the 10 kg class, the model in greatest demand, SIEBENSTER will also be a dependable business partner with good performance and a good price.

Thank you.
