22 Jul Hongseong Coffee Roaster Installation – SUG-12

We installed a SIEBENSTER coffee roaster at a coffee academy in Hongseong.

The equipment we installed was a 12 kg SUG-12 roaster, a smoke eliminator, and a destoner.

On the SUG 12, the controller and the main body are joined in a switching configuration, and because the electrical panel is located below the controller, the electrical components are protected more effectively from the heat source.

In addition, the Aroma Wheel, the trademark of the UG models, is a cylindrical manual damper that can be used together with the inverter-driven electronic damper for a dual damper setup.

Because all of the pipes and motors on the SUG model are exposed on the outside, it has advantages for equipment maintenance, and you can enjoy its distinctive mechanical look as well.

It is especially popular with male roasters.

Because there was feedback that the controller on units released through 2022 was too large, from the 2023 models onward the controller has been reduced to about 2/3 of its size and made lighter.

Also, starting with the 2023 models, an airflow pressure gauge is installed as standard.

The pipes have a spring-loaded structure, designed to prevent misalignment caused by slight differences in level.
